DrawFall

Privacy policy

Effective October 21, 2026

DrawFall is a poker puzzle game made by Steve Jones, an independent developer in Ohio, United States ("I", "me"). This policy explains what the game collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to have it deleted. If you have a question, email privacy@drawfall.app.

The short version

What is stored on your device

The game saves its data in its own storage on your device: your settings, any unfinished game, your results and best scores, a copy of leaderboards, and your player ID and access key. This lets the game work offline. Uninstalling the game removes it from the device.

What is stored on DrawFall's server

When the game first goes online, it creates a player account for you on DrawFall's server. The server stores:

Your player name, Daily Deal scores and ranks appear on leaderboards that other players can see. Nothing else about you is shown to other players. Please don't use your real name, or anything personal, as your player name.

Ads

DrawFall shows ads provided by Google AdMob, which helps keep the game free. To show ads and measure them, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and information about your device and how ads are used. If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice later in the game's settings. In US states with privacy laws that give you the right to opt out, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for personalized ads in the game's settings. You can also reset your advertising ID or turn off personalized ads in your device's settings.

Purchases

Any purchases are handled by Google Play (or the App Store). DrawFall receives only confirmation of what you bought, never your payment details.

Server logs and security

DrawFall's server runs in the United States, and its traffic passes through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks. Your IP address is used briefly to limit how often some requests can be made; it isn't stored with your account. The server's logs record each request (what was asked for and whether it worked, but not your IP address) and are deleted after 30 days. All connections are encrypted (HTTPS).

Why your information is used

Your information isn't sold, and it isn't shared with anyone other than the services named in this policy (Google for sign-in and ads, Cloudflare for the network), or when the law requires it.

How long it is kept

Your account and scores are kept for as long as your account exists, so your history and leaderboards stay complete. Signing out removes your information from that device only. To have it deleted from the server, see Delete your account; it's done within 30 days.

Children

DrawFall is not directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used DrawFall, email privacy@drawfall.app and their account will be deleted.

Your rights

You can change your player name in the game at any time. You can also ask for a copy of the information held about you, for it to be corrected, or for it to be deleted, by emailing privacy@drawfall.app. Depending on where you live (for example in the EEA, the UK or California), you may have further rights under your local law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the game.
